Dr Jasleen Kaur Jolly can update us all on some of the innovative and exciting developments around Gene therapy trials on genetic eye diseases (currently being led by Oxford Uni). This includes. \n\nThe psychological impact of sight loss\nNew treatments\nWhat participating in research means\nWelcomes ideas for new research projects\n\nThis promises to be an excellent hour.

DESCRIPTION:Sight Advice South Lakes Cumbria\, would like to invite you and your friends to a joint technology event on Zoom with 5 other Independent Sight Societies from around the country and supported by Visionary as part of our monthly  “Future Vision” programme. \nTim Ward from Sight Advice South Lakes will showcase “supported” video Technology. All technology that Tim will showcase can be used by people who have any level of sight loss\, including non sighted. \nBe my eyes\, Envision and Aira are amongst some of the technology that will be presented during the workshop.

As the event is a workshop format\,  feel free to join in and ask questions about this technology and other technology\, as there are several “experts” online from the six sight loss organisations.
