Gift Aid

We are now registered with the Inland Revenue to accept Gift Aid. Gift Aid works by taxpayers making donations to charity either regularly or one off and the Inland Revenue top this up by allowing the charity to reclaim the basic rate of tax paid on their gifts boosting the donation by 25% e.g. a gift of £10 from a donor is worth an extra £2.50 to the charity. The donor is NOT required to inform the Inland Revenue.

To qualify for Gift Aid the donor must pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax that the charity will claim on the donation in the tax year.
