Collection Boxes

We have two types of collection box. For your home we have 'Loose Change Boxes' and for your business we have 'Humpty Boxes'.

Loose Change Boxes

Loose Change BoxDo you wonder what to do with all those 1p, 2p and 5p coins that gathers in your pockets and purses? Why not put it to good use with a Loose Change Box. You can hand in your box to our Registered Office or we can visit your home to empty it for you (please check opening hours). You will not be required to pay it into a bank as The Royal National Institute of Blind People requires you to do with their home boxes. From 1 April 2018 to 31 January 2020 donations amounting to £754.63 were received from the boxes to support our services.

Humpty Boxes

Humpty Collecting BoxIf you have a retail outlet, have you thought about a Humpty Dumpty box to collect customers loose change?

We can provide secure fastenings and regular collections. We will also provide you with a certificate showing the amount you've raised over a financial year. From 1 April 2018 to 31 January 2020 donations amounting to £406.37 were received from the boxes to support our services.

Wednesday 10 and 17 July from 10am to 3.30pm, 31 Scott Street, Keighley

Our living with sight loss courses gives people the opportunity to meet and chat with other people living with sight loss in a relaxed, informal environment. Our volunteer speakers, who are people living with sight loss, tell their stories and answer questions.

To mark our 110th Anniversary a new tactile map was unveiled at a special event held on Tuesday 9 May 2017.
