How to find out more

We believe that the best way to ensure an item meets your needs, is for you to try it out. Our team will demonstrate the various products available, allowing you to choose the item that best meets your needs. To ensure that a team member is available we ask that you ring the Helpline to make an appointment or visit our Office (please check opening times).

To make an appointment

Team members allow one hour appointment so that customers have time to fully assess the display equipment. Most equipment is not carried in stock but can be obtained within 5 days.

Please telephone the Helpline or visit our Office (please check our opening times) to arrange an appointment to visit the Daily Living Shop.

Please remember that we can only supply equipment to people who are sight impaired or severely sight impaired. Shop purchases can be made by cash or cheque. We are unable to accept Credit/Debit Cards payments

Visits to the Daily Living Shop are strictly by appointment only. To arrange a one-to-one appointment to view the shop, please contact the Helpline or visit our Office (please check opening times). Although appointments are undertaken at the Sight Centre, visitors are asked to report at the Registered Office where a team member will be waiting.

Demonstration equipment in not available for loan and unfortunately there in no outreach service. There are no online facilities.

There is NO reception facilities at the Sight Centre.

What's New

Wednesday 10 and 17 July from 10am to 3.30pm, 31 Scott Street, Keighley

Our living with sight loss courses gives people the opportunity to meet and chat with other people living with sight loss in a relaxed, informal environment. Our volunteer speakers, who are people living with sight loss, tell their stories and answer questions.

To mark our 110th Anniversary a new tactile map was unveiled at a special event held on Tuesday 9 May 2017.
